Title: Just started CRPG, awesome looking mod.
Post by: Husasz on May 18, 2011, 03:38:21 am
Hi.. I have a few questions.

I'm just starting to build my character, I was hoping for a sword/shield/lancer build.. maybe with some throwing weapons.

Should I focus more on strength or agility?  I figure agility because my couched lance will do enough damage and at least i'll be fast when im dismounted.

Thanks

Welcome to cRPG!

For help with character planning the cRPG Calculator Pack (http://infinitum.dyndns.org/crpg/calc.htm) has some very useful tools, when using the character planner I suggest you aim your build to be finished by level 30 as levelling after this point gets much harder. There is also a wealth of information on the Wiki (http://wiki.c-rpg.net/index.php?title=Main_Page) which it is worth reading paticularly the articles on upkeep (http://wiki.c-rpg.net/index.php?title=Upkeep), retirement (http://wiki.c-rpg.net/index.php?title=retirement) and also the section on example builds (http://wiki.c-rpg.net/index.php?title=Example_Builds#Cavalry).

Hope this helps, enjoy yourself.  :)

Thanks! I read all that information and got me going on a good example build.

Yes its not very creative but im bad enough at this game (vanilla) online without having to create some gimped character.
