Title: How to opt out of Strategus?

I enter the Strategus just some hour ago, just to see what it is. Hoping that if I don't like it, I can opt out.

What I mean by opt out is, sign off, not use etc. I basically quickly wanted to look what it was, but now to my knowledge I can be attacked when I don't want to play and so on. Or am I wrong?

I'd rather not be attacked .. Or be called into battles, or whatever the fuck happens with Strategus. Have I misunderstood what this is? None of the stickies really explain that well. I just got the game a day ago. So maybe you can understand why I'd rather opt out than deal with this.

Or, if I don't do anything, move to places and whatnot. I do not have a risk of being randomly attacked, ambushed and so on? Whatever the situation, I still want to stop using it. I thought I could make an alt, make it the hero, then remove it. But apparently it takes an entire week to transfer this. What the hell?

If there's no other way can I still do the alt thing?

no you cant opt out   however if you have no goods or anything nobody will bother to attack you

Is there any reason why opting out of Strategus is forbidden? Not a very friendly and good choice for players I think. But okay

No I have nothing, absolutely nothing. I just opted in, realized what a huge mistake I did and prayed to God I wouldn't be attacked by another level 35 player that has 5 years of experience.

Even if they do, it will not affect you playing on the servers. There is no opt in either. You're main character, or hero, is automatically placed randomly somewhere on the strat map. It's safe to ignore it. Any stats that it may affect are stats that only matter in strat, so no need to worry about it if you don't plan to play. If it still bothers you a bit, I would say either go hide in the woods, or in a fief. Again though, if you have no goods, unless someone just wants to be a douche, you aren't going to be attacked. And even if you are, if you don't hire mercenaries, and you don't show up to battle, then there is no battle. It may negatively affect your strat stats, but again, nothing important if you just want to play the game.  :mrgreen:

Nobody needs you in strat. Especially if you have nothing. And there is no difference there of 15 or 35 level in strat.

You can move your char to some distant land, buy 20 crates of goods and move somewhere else.
And even then cares only these people:

just find some strategus faction that would take you and start to learn how to play with them, i am sure there are pleanty of people that are interested i new members( dont join grey order or druzhina, they suck. they are so called UIF and are villains of strategus)

Maybe I would join Druzhina. But Druzhina is a Russian clan correct? And not only that, it seems as if they are largely pro. Which I'm not

You can use Strat as an excuse to join a bigger cRPG faction and get access to armories with 100's of +1's. Just playing cRPG gives you Strat resources, which you can send once a week to a faction leader by clicking a couple buttons. Most factions will certainly appreciate the help, and it would guarantee you roster slots later down when Strat gets big, where you fight for 60-90 minutes and get over a million XP in a much better (in my opinion) game mode than Battle or Siege, where you continuously respawn, fight like an organized army, and such.

Its pretty fucking easy, just don't hit the strategus button on the character page. It took more effort to write these jerk off questions than NOT play strat

The guys are right, just do not go on the Strat pageanymore. If anyone should attack you, why would you care? Being inactive in Strategus does not influence your crpg experience.
