Stick gets buffed, therefore 1h goedendag gets buffed. This is the only way.

It's some odd % reduction. Change 1 thing and it changes all of the 2h/1h stats. I think the speed reduction can be toned down while avoiding making weapons like the katana+shield too fast, but I'm not certain of the specific % currently being used.

I'm not even saying to make a good weapon, but it's stats in 1h mode are horrendous. I mean I guess you could make it 1h/2h since there's no pole mode to maintain. It is a fun weapon that shows the difficulties of having too long of a 1her, like your right swing glancing on terrain or teammates 3 person lengths over or an overhead guaranteed to always bounce off the floor.

A long time ago I saw Xeen top scoreboard with a 1h Goedendag, or maybe it was an Iron Staff. Either way, was hilarious to witness.

1h/2h would be neat. I like the weapon in 1h mode, too. Then it'd only need like -2 speed (-1 blunt or slight price increase, ~5k) in 1h mode and keep 2h mode the way it is. Was just trying to say that you can't really change any 2h/1h weapon individually, so they'll have problems in different areas whatever change you make.

I understand that. I was taking a relatively short shit, so I didn't have time to write out a long post. But you should look into reducing the 2h/1h malus. However, it will be tricky, not because of the Katana, but probably because of the Morningstar. I don't know if you can incorporate weights into it, so a heavier weapon suffers more than a lighter weapon, which would be fairly logical. If only there was a way to set an item as 1h/2h but make it default to 2h.

Actually it's a very deceptive 1h weapon, isn't it the longest 4D 1h ? It's not good, but it's also very far from being the worst 1h/2h to use with a shield.

Mace, both bastard swords, Longsword, katana, goedendag Morningstar.
And estoc, kind of.
And yes, it's deceptive length is all it has going for it. It's stab in 1h mode is laughably low for a pointed weapon, around 18, I think, at +3. The length is actually a liability of you have any teammates nearby, due to its slow speed. The swing damage is just as bad,too, in 1h mode.
