So, I just realized I had a GC3 alpha. Looks pretty good from what I've seen. If people want will try and give feedback at it's current state.

Not for $100.

Actually, assuming 20$ DLC and 2 of them you only pay 10$ more than the other method.
Plus I get to test out all game modes, etc.
So far. It's really good(combat only) it's just like 2.

It seems cool but I never played the previous games before it. However I've heard great things and I like how gal civ 3 looks thus far.

So you don't control your ships at all in combat?

You didn't in 2, and you don't in this one. It's like civ combat.

I don't know any other civ games but in civ 5 you actually choose what unit to attack what with different abilities etc. In GC2 it just looks like a auto-battle and the battle you see acts as a visual presentation of the battle. You don't get to control anything at all.

93 Euro LOL
It's like this Planetary Annihilation scam :D Was 90 Euro in a pre-alpha state, had to be released by 2014, and it's still not finished...
GC2 was a great game, but i will wait for a demo/beta/torrent to try first. It's not so much about money - I am against supporting fat lazy my old friendgøts, who are selling "ideas" based on an old popular title.
If only i could get a license to call my new game "Half-Life 3", i could be a multi-millionaire by the end of this week, having only this to show:

Only 199 Euro for an access to a pre-pre-alpha DVD cover!
