Was the most popular north american onling gaming league from about 2001'ish to 2008 or 2009 (not sure on exact dates).  It was the online/amateur counter-part to the CPL.  CAL = Cyberathlete Amateur League.  CPL = Cyberathlete Professional League. 

I know CPL used to hold worldwide LAN tournaments for Counter-Strike and Quake (and probably other games too).

If only i was 16 again i might consider trying to get into tournaments n stuff :D

does it say what games they will run leagues for?
