Title: Alternate attack for throwing daggers?

Ok, so i just made an alt called super_grover and camped siege, flinging daggers, and at level 9 i was positive k:d. I love throwing but.... WTF?!?!?!?!

why cant i use daggers to stab people with? I would argue to use the stats of the peasant knife, the weakest dagger in the game, with a potential for increased speed since they're balanced.

Peasant Knife
weapon length: 40
weight: 0.2
speed rating: 110
weapon length: 40
thrust damage: 21 pierce
swing damage: 23 cut
slots: 0

just as a note, if not abundantly clear, i use throwing only as an alternate, so this is no means an urgent request. it just seems silly that noone ever thought to allow daggers to be used as well.... daggers :/

this has been suggested so many times and its not possible with the daggers being upside down in your hand or something like that so no.

How about flip the daggers so that they are held by the handle (and thrown probably incorrectly) and then they would be the right way up!

That's totally incorrect. In native if you pay attention to the javelins closely they change orientation when the alternate mode is selected so yes.

I definitely like the idea since throwing knives are meant for this anyways. The more playing styles the better for everyone. All hail diversity, fuck Milton Friedmann.

If this were implemented, i'd be pleased as punch, since i already keep a dagger on me, this would kill two birds with one stone.

This is just what i recall reading from one of the 10 earlier threads, and maybe it is possible like with the javelins but then it shouldve already been done by now.
