I've seen it already, though I'm not sure I'd even want to ride in a tank unless u can shoot the gun. Knowing myself being a terrible driver I'd probably get the thing stuck in a ditch or something. Besides, Arnold looks old as fuck now.

Boss.

I was a bit bugged by the turret being backwards but it's obvious why it's like that. It's just that tanks are not really shown like that in popular culture.

Really? I've been in and around tanks a lot, and I don't see why it's "obvious" that the turret is backwards? The reference to popular culture implies that turrets being forward is a popular culture thing or what?

Isn't it that tanks march with it backwards generally and only position it forwards when about to enter combat, or for show off purposes?
Same way as in military parades guns are not loaded with live ammo and similars.
At least that was the main difference between normal exercices and the 1982 coup in Spain, according to my father who was in the army at the time.

Yeah but most people like me aren't around tanks very often, and/or only see them in games/movies whatever.

It's not necessarily a pop culture thing, but that's how the tank is shown mostly

they would travel with the turret locked and the barrel locked into position because during long traveling the bumps and knocks the tank might endure was enough to possibly throw off the alignment of the tanks sights and barrel.  Think of it the same way as when you drive your car and hit a bunch of shitty potholes and throw off the alignment in your car, you have that bit of play in the wheel if you do it enough, and its the same concept with the tanks, so to prevent it, they lock it all down until she is ready for combat as to avoid as much wear and tear as possible.  Lastly, it just made it smaller and more compact for travel.

I'm curious if it's allowed to drive a tank with a military flag as a civilian.
But on the other side.. Who cares about Austrian military.

Crushing cars with tanks can be pretty hazardous by the way; when I saw one do it (going over the whole car vertically instead of just the back of it like Arnold does) the tank treads sucked in the whole roof of the car and it got stuck there, between the treads.
