Title: peasant gear and upgrading/repairing...

I would like to know, do attacking armies receive peasant gear or only defending AI armies?

And how do you upgrade gear? Only after battles or can you upgrade the stuff with -2 quality that you buy on map right now? How do you do it?

Ok. You have to own one to upgrade to that level. Gotcha!
