Think about it. It would make sense, because they mainly focus on consoles, and they get quite lot of blame for that. So they release half assed port of a popular game, that bears message that goes something like "Yeah it sucks, dont ever want us to release anything on PC again ok?" Seems they intentionally wanted to ruin the fun for PC users, while trying to imply that PC is a platform not worth developing games for.

IIRC they were making Dark Souls 2 for PC (as in primary platform)

yeah that kind of makes me question it, but as I said, I'm not sure where I heard that, I could be wrong

nah, heard that as well. Probably just the usual reason, delaying the PC version to sell more on consoles :\

It just makes sense from a business point of view to release the superior version later, unless a significant part of your audience knows you are pulling that shit (looking at you, Rockstar).

Yes, I'm really not even bothered about not having played GTAV now.

I think they just really want to get it good this time, plus, managing servers and making bugfixes for all 3 platforms might be too much of a workload, so they delay the PC version for a smoother release.
Not sure though, but all the triple A companies manage to fuck that up.
