I just retired and I've never played a pole build before. Figured I'd give it a go for a gen. Kinda want to wear heavish armor and be able to take a hit but not be incredibly slow. Wanna use the long hafted spiked mace as my primary weapon. For armor i didn't really have anything specific in mind maybe like surcoat over mail.
My idea for the build would be something like this
24 str
15 agi
8 power strike
8 iron flesh
5 athletics
5 weapon master
and all WPF into polearms.
Any thoughts?

I think that is just a little too little athletics, it might be viable but probably will turn out much less awesome as you expected. I personally use 15/24, but that's my choice.
Level up to 15/15 and decide from there what you want to add :)

That build is good if you wear heavy armour.
I'd do 21-18 though for better versality.
At lvl 33 my preferred build is 24-18.

played 24/15 lhsm in Transitional once and I remember that thing hit like a ton and I did really well, atleast a year has passed since then so I don't know how viable it is now, probablay around the same.
I'd still reccomend 21/18 build maybe if you wanna change weapon, go for some other stuff, 21/18 you'll do great with basically anything.
