Title: Got attacked Whilst in a castle..

So I was on my peaceful way with over a thousand goods to the fair village of Rduna, when some random naked guy attacked me.. So i fought him off bravely with pitchforks but i realized that The Kalmar Union had parked a peasant army in my ass to attack me when the other battle had finished, so using the one hour spare I clambered towards the nearest castle seeking protection.. Rindyar Castle. I managed to make it to the castle with moments to spare before my hour was up and i could be attacked. but to my disappointment I have been attacked yet i am in the castle. LOGIC.

So I Think the battle should be cancelled because I am in the castle, for them to logically attack me they would have to siege the castle..

EDIT: In any case, it was a very close call and it could have gone either way. Fortune favoured us.

I didn't screenshot it exactly when I got in the castle because I didn't realize I had been attacked, and i hadn't come up on the battles list yet.

Edit: Also I'm fairly sure I arrived at the castle at 2:43.

If the battle was started when Phoenix was outside the castle he should still be outside it, as you freeze in place until the battle is over. If it says that he is visiting the castle now, that means that he was visiting it when he attacked.

Technically I attacked him when he was outside, but at the same moment he entered the castle

Tested to see what happens if i go to move somewhere, now I have left the castle :P but now i am stuck like being attacked normally.

So I Think the battle should be cancelled because I am in the castle, for them to logically attack me they would have to siege the castle..

That happened to me in strat 3 or strat 4.  I created a thread, I know chadz saw it (I made a huge stink about it) but apparently it's still a problem.  I'll see if I can find that thread.

unfortunate it happened to you too, Yeah seems chadz didn't fix it.. The only reason I'm pissed is because of this bug I will be losing 1390 goods worth 120k strat gold with bonuses.. So you better enjoy it Kalmar Union you really deserve getting it because of a bug! ;)

is anything going to be done about this bug? we're going to lose 120k if this isn't resolved, which is about half of kalmarunion's economy ...

... kind of changes the battlefield in a somewhat unfair way ...

we're not going to lose :)

i've seen all kalmar's attacked us with, we've got 1:1 troops with them without even delving into our storage :)

... but it's still pretty annoying kalmar gets to survive another week or so because of a silly bug ..

we have a lot of troops of our own in reserve :)

have you thought up a retreat strategy yet? because your villages are looking rather vulnerable to the mighty red bear right now, and it seems to me you're losing a lot more troops than you're killing  :lol:

btw your combination of bug abuse with the castle and occupying our armies with unarmed randoms is a pretty dirty strategy imo  :?

Reserves? Do you mean Ushkuru and Yalibe? Why dont you go and take them out?

DRZ, yes are you calling in both mom and dad already? We havent been at war for more than a day and you already cry for them?

Did you guys not read the Geneva conventions, combat personnel should be carrying recognizable emblems so parties can distinguish between military targets and civilian targets. Shamefur dispray, there is no honoureeuu in a fight with an opponent who has no honoreeuuu.
