Can someone please post a trashman build that works good with the new wpf rework?

I'm currently leveling my trashman alt but only at lvl22. Will post here once he is 29/30

Isnt trashman a build without specialization but one that is average at everything and can use most things on the battlefield

15/24 Is one i use on my alt, has IF too. plate armor, most weapons are available including the bec which is fun.

this is about what I had for before the wpf rework, idk if it would work now. What do you guys think?

Joke aside, I'd suggest an even stat build leaning slightly towards AGI. You can get a 111 split between 1h/2h/pole for little investment. Up it to more competitive levels, or grab 120 xbow WPF if you want to throw ranged in there too. PD/PT points are more costly than just the xbow wpf. Max PS and athletics. Max shield and rest in IF, or split IF and riding. That works best for me.

Thats the one I'm currently leveling. Starting with a 1h mace and shitarmor, looting everything I can. Lots of fun but only lvl 25 yet.

Edit: I dont think its possible without the wpf from leveling, currently my build looks like this:

Attribute points:2
Strength:15
Agility:15

Weapon points:78
One Handed:50
Two Handed:50
Polearm:50
Throwing:1
Crossbow:1
Archery:80
Skill points:2
Weapon Master:5
Athletics:5
Riding:0
Iron Flesh:0
Shield:0
Horse Archery:0
Power Strike:5
Power Draw:5
Power Throw:0

As you can see agi is already at 15 with 5 WM and only very few wpf left to distribute. So I will leave away xbow for sure since its not needed to pick it up and fire a few bolts. I'll go for riding and shield definitely, throwing wont work very well since the points are simply not enough (can go to 27 max with the current points). I thought I'll invest in more melee since they get a bonus from each other.

looks like a good build so far. I can see why you don't go for the xbow wpf. I'll try it out on a STF.

p.s. Do you think it'd be possible to put the wpf points that normally go into xbow into throwing? (if it would effect the "Throwing proficiency too low" message)

I'll try some stuff out today or tomorrow. I think at lvl 31 or 32 a trashman build could become really great fun.

Go for at least 21 AGI / 7 WM. 15 or 18 STR is fine for a scavenger build. 15 will limit you from picking up some of the really expensive 2H and poles, but you will have no trouble picking up a +3 weapon either way.

Do you have shield skill leveled up a few? I'd put more into 1H/pole if you are gonna use a shield often. Leave 2H lower.

Naw man, the point of this build is to be good at nothing and to not specialize in anything. Kind of being a peasant on a battlefield who just picks up random stuff to survive.
Its great fun to have an inferior build and every round is completely different, depends on who is dying before you and what they drop.
Just dont charge at the beginning or youre dead :wink:

I get what you're going for. I've found that you can split between several classes and be pretty good at all of them. If you split between every possible class your stats don't quite stretch far enough to make you a jack of all trades.

After going three-way melee, I'd prefer to grab riding, shield, or xbow wpf instead of being mediocre at all three. Shield is the most useful. You can fire an xbow and hit your target with 1wpf, and horses are less common than weapons if you are a scavenger. 3-way split in melee wpf and shield skill is excellent.

Ok now, after playing up to lvl27 with 15/15 I think I know how to continue. It will be a bit different from the original trashman with less possibilities so let me present:

The Garbageman
Level 30
15/18 (in order to get more wpf I need 6 WM)
Weapon Master: 6
Athletics: 6
Riding: 5
Iron Flesh:0
Shield: 5
Horse Archery: 2
Power Strike: 5
Power Draw: 5
Power Throw: 0

1 spare skill point to invest in either more shield or more riding for more unlocks on the battlefield! The additional wpf points can be invested in more melee or xbow points, alternatively you can invest skill points in throwing and go for 80 wpf in throwing.
