So I was just browsing the new marketplace and I started thinking of all the ways that it could be abused. The first problem it creates is inflation, now when people stop playing they are likely to sell or giveaway all of their heirloomed items, theoretically in a year or less we could see people roaming the battlefield with +12 or +15 heirloom modifiers.
The second problem is borrowing. If clan members organize well they can keep all of their best players with full heirloomed gear at all times with little to no consquences.
The third problem is market abuse. Right now about 80% of the items on the marketplace are ridiculously overpriced because people don't know any better or they're trying to scam careless clickers.
I think all of these problems could be helped a little if a user fee is added. User fees may be unpopular but if you look at it from an economic point of view they are absolutely essential. Transportation of goods is a service that adds value, and by offering for free you are hurting the economy of cRPG. The fee could be a flat 1000 gold per listing or it could be a percent of the offered item, either way it would be better than what we have now.

Already proposed a few times, this really needs to be seen by devs.

EVER heard of sentimental values?
Thats what you have to pay for mostly here.... :-)
Dont think reglemantation of any kind could stop this.
P.S. Why do ppl buy shoes worth 1 Euro for 45 Euros? So much for a real life comparisson.
Not saying prices are ok, just telling why they are so high imo.

This is all ready taken place as we speak nothing new about that...

They are obviously scams, there are dozens of "heavy" items posted to make people think they are loomed once, but they are just regular items with the word "heavy" in the name, e.g. heavy gauntlets, heavy great sword, or heavy board shield. The other type is people hoping for misclicks of buyers, getting 300k gold for straw hats etc.

Well that's the most obvious intellectual fallacy I ever read on the internet

Having one person with a billion heirlooms does certainly sound like a bit of a problem.

Why? There are already ppl out there with fully loomed sets, so what does it matter if they have another or several sets of fully loomed stuff?
