Title: PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN MONEY

This thread is 85% rage, beware :

I just bought a heap of shit heavy great sword, thinking Heavy was a heirloom for the regular great sword. FFS i mean come on, I bought the heap of shit for 100k gold. There should be a picture showing the item so there is no confusion between shit, i just wasted a week of my life earning that money to have it taken by some stupid 11 year old retard who can't handle money.

they should be somehow banned for 2-3 days on eu servers atleast
since eu servers have the most attendance rate.

it's kinda stupid I know, but I don't see any other solution yet.

It's not them who cannot handle money, if I look down it, there are several people who are trying to catch people out with the "heavy" heirloom situation, maybe you should check what you're buying before hand.

The point of the market is to make money, if you want to "con" people out of it, then I don't see any reason why they shouldn't, it's RPG for a reason and besides if you post stones for 99999999 then you're in a very small market, I doubt anyone will buy it on purpose, you'll get done once or twice, it happens and I think if you're careful, you should be ok.

By trading standars you mean the price? It's the time to act and set price system before auction mode-charlie comes out and then mw straw hats cost 10million gold to buy due to huge inflation that are made from the uber rich ones.

It is a good idea and would take some guess work out, but the market has ONLY just been released :)

Will there be an "auction fee" ? It's really needed and will clean the market much more efficiently than filters.

Ya I was just thinking of like a weapon_name with a + for each time its been heirloomed.  So a triple heirloomed item would look like

Someone was complaining about no love for NA in the EU fundraiser thread. I honestly don't know much about the NA sitatution, except that their Strategus server is lagy, but it would give you an option about what to do with your stuff. Or just hold non-clan tournaments, do something for the community ;)

People are trying to take advantage of people who see "Heavy" and think heirloom, and they are succeeding because people (you, for example) are not doing their research. I hope this is a lesson to others.

I did consider that it could be a scam, to be fair, but I don't think it was considering I remember seeing that sword for sale earlier, and I also don't care about the gold.

Either he is to be compensated for his loss, or he is to be rewarded for his ingenuity.

At the end of the day, I still get to shoot someone in the face and have them rage at me in battle, so it is all good.

We were talking about this on TS the other night. Tommy came across cmp's listing. Think he had a heavy throwing axe listed or something. Another guy from irc:// had a scam listing up aswell.

It's really a sad thing when admins resort to scamming people. They should know better.

next time inform yourself before you purchase something and then cry.

its not really hard to chech heirlooms of certain weapon types here on forums so i think you lucky somebody bought that sword of ya, id let u learn from your mistakes, because it was your and your only mistake.

as for the situation on the marketplace its quite clear that in a while only ppl using it will be overstacked Kesh and co. and poor noobs getting scammed and paying 500+ k for 2 stats. this was a good idea gone wrong sorry to say

I think masterwork stones would be pretty priceless though, I mean who would bother to go through the effort to heirloom them? Thats a lot of work.

Everyone who got the money for a heirloomed item SHOULD FUCKING know about what is a heirloom and what not.

Giving him money only makes other people believe its ok to fail, someone will jump in for them.

Hmmm... Not to be harsh... but yeah, the hierlooming for a sword doesn't go heavy, thats for axes, so swords go tempered, balanced and Masterwork, or have they changed it :S?
