Kind of stupid to have one color for everything higher than "almost nobody"

A horse is tied to a five meter rope in front of an old saloon. Six meters behind the horse is a bale of hay. Without breaking his rope, the horse is able to eat the hay whenever he chooses. How is this possible?

There is no point in putting the riddle and the answer in the same post, you should give some time, then post it.
Anyway, this must be the 20th time this thread comes up in these forums

During the age of the medieval empires, when knights and barbarians fought against each others, a man was captured and sentenced to death for allegedly befriending barbarians.  The king, however, wanted to give him another chance.  The king ordered him to his presence and ask him to choose one of the three knights present.  One of the knights is the Knight of Life, and he always tells the truth.  The second Knight is the Knight of Death, and he always tells lies.  The third knight is the Knight of the Dungeon.  He sometimes lies and sometimes tells the truth.  If the man chooses the Knight of Death, he is to be executed before sunset.  If he chooses the Knight of Life, he would be acquitted and set free right away.  If he chooses the Knight of the Dungeon, he would spend the rest of his life imprisoned in the Dungeon.  This is the first time the man ever saw these knights and could not recognize them.  However, the man is allowed to ask these three knights one question each.  Thus, the man asked the red hair knight, "What is the name of this blond hair knight?"  The reply was "He is the Knight of the Life."  He asked the black hair knight, "What is the name of this blond hair knight?" The reply was "He is the Knight of Death."  Then he asked the blond hair knight "Who are you?" "I am the Knight of the Dungeon" was the reply.   Luckily, the man was able to correctly choose the Knight of Life, and was set free immediately.  Can you identify who was the Knight of Life, and also who the other two knights were?

Great as a pet! As loyal companion as a dog - will follow you everywhere for 20 years, and they will pretty much take care of themselves. Had one for many years, but sadly, we had to separate, when Barney attacked a girl in a swimming pool few years ago. :( Even though i found him a new home - many tears were shed the day we had to say goodbye to each other.

I still cry every time I hear "Child in Time", it was playing when Barney crawled out if my ass and said "PAPA!" for the very first time... Sweet, sweet memories!

The king ordered him into a room with two doors and two guard. The he was told that one door leeds to freedom and the other to death and that one guard alway tells the truth and the other always lies.

Without knowing which guard is the honest one the prisoner is allowed to ask one question to one of the guards.

What will this question be to find the door to freedom?

Haha, my idea was pretty close to the answer, i made them stand in a line (multipal lines) so they cant shoot because of the guy infront of them, and the closest guy to me i would put so close he couldn't lift his gun because the gun was to long :P

If they can form a circle then my idea that they would all stand behind the post and thus shot through the rope but not the pirate would also be possible.

Another classic riddle:

A man claimed to have found a very old coin after searching in the desert close to where the pyramids of Gizeh. The inscription was "213 A.C.N" (ante christum natum), so there would be no doubt that the coin is indeed very valuable. Nontheless after the man gave this coin to a museum and told them his story how he found it, they only laughed and told him that it's a fake. How did they know it was fake?

If you're 8 feet away from a door and with each move you advance half the distance to the door. How many moves will it take to reach the door.

That's an ill-formed problem because distances are not continuous.

The distance is indeed finite, but it may take you a lifetime. Or at least longer than you would want to wait.
