Title: What's for dinner at your house?
Post by: WITCHCRAFT on February 19, 2014, 08:20:39 am
Post your dinner. Or breakfast. Or lunch. I don't care. Pictures a bonus, but not required. Let's inspire each other to try new foods. Cook a fancy meal. Use your bachelor skills to slap together a cheap and lazy meal that tastes good. Eat ravioli out of a can, cold.

Tonight I had oven roasted pork ribs ("southern style boneless" according to my butcher - no idea what actual part of the pig that is) marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, and thyme. Basted with hickory BBQ sauce. Side dish was garlic mashed potatoes with canned peas mashed into it too.

I haven't bought this cut of meat before, and plan to buy some next week to make a chinese takeout style dish with asian bbq/sesame sauce. Probably gonna throw some green beans in the wok with it. Rice on the side.

This is what happens when fat people try to eat healthy food. We call them haystacks. My familys variant is basically the following ingredients stacked on top of each other from top to bottom. It's absolutely delicious.

Tortilla chips, finely chopped iceberg or romaine lettuce, warm black beans, fresh cucumber chunks, fresh avocado with lime/black pepper/salt, fresh sliced black olives, and canned salsa. We generally use Pace mild salsa.

It's fucking delicious.

I had a pulled pork burrito for lunch... they put pineapple in it... was odd but not terrible. Saracha makes everything taste good.

Nothing for bkfast or dinner... trying to slim up. I Refuse to give up beer so I'm giving up meals instead. :3

I do kinda the same thing, but with fresh warm corn tortillas. Instead of keeping everything separate I mush together avocado, olives, beans, salsa, and lime/black pepper/chiles into a thick guacamole style spread. Sticks to tortillas real well, so you can add more toppings. Throw some minced chicken thighs, sauteed mushrooms, or shaved steak on there. Queso blanco or muenster cheese if you don't give a fuck about healthy eating.

Last week I made myself a 2200 cal spaghetti and the previous day a 1800 cal nasi goreng. I also make just basic stuff like a steak, fish or sausages with potatoes and green veggies like spinach, the only thing I don't make myself is pizza or hamburgers, like once a week:p

God tier bulking while on IF :D

Yesterday for dinner after I got home from work I had some pesto pasta (lel) with lots of parmigian and beet salad on the side.

literally looked like this (same type of pasta)

Yesterday I had one of my favourites, did not take a picture though.
A large yorkshire pudding with lamb's liver on top and gravy, with corn on the cob and roasted potatoes on the side. Delicious.

Others I usually have:
Trout fillet with ham (not the pink one, but the parma or spanish ham, the reddish one) on the oven with some side, this time it was boiled broccoli.
Olleta/stew. Basically a bunch of stuff put together in a large pan and boiled for an hour. Diced beef, chorizo, veg (this time carrots, parsnips, potatoes, peas, mangetout beans, mushrooms), garlic and onion, with rice and lentils, and maybe some ingredients I am forgetting.
Grilled steak with pepper, salt and oil and chips/some other veg (broccoli, cauliflower, corn on the cob mostly).
Full english breakfast: 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 1 egg, mushrooms, 1 grilled tomato, beans hash browns, toast plus a drink of your choice. Delicious and 2 meals at once (bfast and lunch).
Spanish Omelette: 2 eggs, diced shallow fried potatoes, cheese on top.

Of course all of this is from the days i cba to cook, the rest I just have pizza, pasta or some sandwiches.
May post some more later when I make more stuff.

Every cRPG player seems to be eating a healthy nutritious diet :D

Had a pack of sour milk for breakfast ( dont know how it's called in English )

This was my lunch ( 450g cottage cheese of sorts ):

And I will eat a family sized pizza for dinner. Probably with kebab, bacon, Bernais souse and extra cheese. But i might change my mind... Could be a plain pepperoni with extra cheese. Hmmm...

The proposed translation is Buttermilk... Never heard about no buttermilk before, so i am sceptical.

Russian/Danish will be: Кефир/Kærnemælk :D
