Title: What does "Strategus ticks left:xy" tell me?

I don't know what a tick is or what it is there for. :oops:
Can anybody explain please?

You gain 1 Strategus Ticks for every Exp+Gold tick ingame. So you gotta play cRPG to gain them (not DTV or Strat Battles).

What they are good for:
When you recruit troops (Troop cap to a higher amount then you got) you loose 1 tick every hour and gain 1 troops therefor.
When you dont recruit troops you gain 10 silver (strat gold) every hour and loose 1 tick therefor.
When you dont have Strategus ticks, you cannot recruit troops.

Not sure amount the exact numbers, but those are my best thoughts.

Can I do anything with the ticks if I have really a lot of them because I nerded on EU1 for some days constantly?
Like selling them?

And does it have to be my main who is farming ticks or are alts as good for it?

You DO get tick on DTV. 1 per every round...

You cannot sell ticks, no. What you can do is recruting all the time. Or if you dont need troops, produce gold.
You can play with whatever character you want to play with to gain strategus tickets.

Didnt knew that. But 1 tick per 10 mins is pretty bad^^
