Currently this feature's only purpose is to make sure nobody wants to stay in a low pop server. This is terrible.
It also has no useful function whatsoever, as it is incapable of actually telling when teams are really not fair. Case in point, yesterday there was a huge balance problem after the whole Grey clan quit EU2 in mid round. One team had less than half the population of the other team, with at least 50 players online. Yet the system didn't detect that and winners got their multiplier. I'm fairly sure I have never seen "Teams are not fair" do something useful, ever. Please get rid of it, if possible.

+1

And if removing it is something you can't/won't do, then at least fix the following problem.
Even if the team that has the disadvantage wins, they still wont win even though they won against all odds.
That's just wrong on so many levels.

God damn it greys!

This is constantly the death of NA siege... can't +1 enough.

The more subtle part of the problem is that the game won't give players multipliers "because teams are not fair" but it isn't fair itself enough to overlook upkeep. It is like "I will still take your gold. Because fuck you. That is why."

I think that in low pop servers it was added to prevent abusing which happened by some people, eg there are just 2 people in the middle of the night, two friends, one of them purposefully lets the other win and then congratulations, you now have a guy on perma x5!

Fair and understandable enough but they could also remove upkeep at times of low population. People will then continue to play solely for fun and hopefully, others will join before player numbers rapidly dwindle.

I've thought about that and honestly I don't see the point of team are not fair in this either. Abusers can always farm x1 anyway and it's not like they are a huge problem or that admins can't catch them at all. Even more importantly, is it worth killing low pop servers?
Besides, the only reason people can afk farm is because of siege overtime, if I remember correctly. Couldn't this be fixed by introducing a secondary overtime timer?
