You live in a great country with great history.

Why do you always reduce yourself and your nation's identity to germany?

Oh really?

I write about my nations history, people call me a neo nazee and a fascist who lives in the past.

I try to humour the current condition of Greece, people tell me that I reduce my nations identity

Go out, live your life, find a girl, a job, if you can't find one in greece go into the rest of europe, that's why it's there.

Life is too short to sob over matters that you can't change in the first place.

Stop whining.

Also, who is whining? I just saw the picture on a facebook group, made me smile a bit, and I though I should share it with you guys.

Greece had been steadily declining due to corrupted governments and useless prime ministers, who were the puppets of the zionists and the Murricans.

But soon enough all this shit will be put to an end, Golden Dawn is ready to take over Greece, and people WILL elect them, because they`re tired of the same shit.

In 3 months, we have Mayor elections here in , and Kasidiaris is running for the Mayors office. The controlled media is giving him a mere 10% placing him fourth,

But on the internet the cencorship is not viable, and the biggest news site of Greece, is having a gallop, which surprisingly places Kasidiaris first with almost 60%

Just because man to boy love tolerated in Athens, doesnt mean it was legal to do so, go read some history regarding the severe punishment Atheneans had if they were ever caught fucking a young boy, and then we can discuss again.

Until then, enjoy your Greek democracy, Greek western medicine, Greek geometry, Greek philoshophy, GREEK MOTHER FUCKING EVERYTHING.

Ancient Greece did make a lot of notable of achievements, but the ancient Greeks still borrowed a lot of ideas from predating civilizations. Scientific discoveries attributed to the Greeks, especially in the field of mathematics, were at least independently discovered by a number of older, ancient civilizations. Babylonian mathematics were in fact superior. I do give Ancient Greece a lot of credit for the invention of formal logic though.

I've never been a fan of nationalism, the fanatical kind especially, and yours is clearly clouding your judgement.

"Logic that greece inven-" what?

Enlightment age was mostly influenced by classics and rationality which (rationalism)  ancient greeks developed the most, it's different. Logic isn't invented, that sounds stupid. Greeks didn't invent anything, they simply developed something from someone else, just like everyone else. Culturally greece was the most advanced in its time, nothing to say about that, but that doesn't make a nation "the greatest"; I'd like to know how you consider a nation greater than someone else.
Back to France,  I said they were hundreds times better considering a nation great by what it has achieved in history and how great it was; clearly to me France won. Don't bring the persian shit like " if Greece didn't win world would be totally different" (which is totally true) cause I could say the same with Charlemagne and arabs and stuff (maybe world would have been even better considering that sand nig6ers at that time were far far ahead us, but who knows). Not to mention Napoleon and french Revolution. I mean you they did good with philosophy and sfuff but for 1400 years world carried on even without it, and West world could acknowledge such things just because of romans (everyone had its part in history :O ) so..

But let me ask you this question,  and I hope you'll answer sincerely; what makes you so proud of being greece and what makes you think you had any important influence or role in what other men (some of them were even sand nig6ers) did 2000 years ago apart from the fact that you were born there (totally not your merit)?

Woow hang on a sec I just read further in the thread "greek medicine greek everything" what the fuck that is literally sick, you're totally losing your head panos I'm not saying that to sound funny or offend but there has a been a heavy brainwashing there, you're basically saying history started with greece; I'm saying this for you because I you're a nice person and I like you, you have to start realizing what you're saying, dunno what kind of sick companies you're meeting but seriously, that's heavily sick.

Nobody invented logic. Aristotle simply established logic as a formal discipline (in the West), which is very different. "Logic" is a word and merely navigates your brain to the referent. And that referent, not to belabor the point, nobody did or could invent.

Mesopotamia: cradle of civilization

Cradle of Western civilization IS Greece. Period. Luckily for all of us, Athenians miraculously won at Marathon, that was the end of spreading of Eastern idea of how the world should look like, with millions of slaves working together for the glory of Empire. To simplify, in Western world individual is the basic cell of society, and individual matters, in eastern world, individual is nothing, only small and insignificant part of something bigger, such as family, company he is working for, party or state. The way we look at life and the world around us is 100% born in those small towns in Greece, and was transferred to us through Roman Empire, then Byzantium Empire &Medieval Greek State, and only state in contemporary sense in Europe for hundreds of years) which preserved the culture and knowledge when Roman Empire was destroyed, and in the end, when Germanic and Celtic tribes finally moved from dark ages and entered new period, through Renaissance. So not only that basis of today's western culture and ideas was only born in Greece, it was Greeks that preserved it through Middle Ages until the rest of the Europe was ready to take it.

To simplify, in Western world individual is the basic cell of society, and individual matters, in eastern world, individual is nothing, only small and insignificant part of something bigger, such as family, company he is working for, party or state. So not only that basis of today's western culture and ideas was only born in Greece, it was Greeks that preserved it through Middle Ages until the rest of the Europe was ready to take it.

The first urban centers arose in Mesopotamia, long before anywhere else in the world, followed by the Levant and Anatolia. Eridu, in modern day Iraq, is arguably the oldest city in the world and existed in the 6th millennium BC. Animals and cereals were first domesticated in the Near East, thousands of years before agriculture spread to Europe. Irrigation first appeared in the Fertile Crescent. This rise of urban culture was only possible through structured and  complex governments.

We should praise Ancient Greece for its huge contributions to philosophy, but the Greek concept of political freedom can hardly be called the foundation of civilization. Moreover, similar concepts of individual freedom arose in India around the same time, such as in the religion of Jainism. The skeptical Indian school of philosophy called Cārvāka appeared in the 6th century BC (before the rise of Greek Classical culture) and rejected such ideas as the afterlife, reincarnation, religious rites, fate, heaven and hell, and supernatural causes in order to explain natural phenomena: something that sounds surprisingly modern, even today.

Yes, Ancient Greece did produce a highly impressive culture that significantly influenced later 'Western' thought, but a bit of nuance wouldn't be out of place.

*EDIT*

On the point of Marathon: the despotic nature of the Persian Empire has often been exaggerated in Greek accounts (it makes sense to paint a grim picture of one's archenemy after all). The Persian Empire was in fact marked by relative tolerance, as Cyrus the Great realized that repression would cause his huge multicultural empire to quickly fall apart. Who liberated the Jews from Babylonian captivity? Indeed, Cyrus the Great.

Also, to say that "Greeks" invented or developed so and so is more than a bit misleading. It would be more accurate to say that a Greek invented so and so. It was not a group effort that all Greeks took part in and could be proud of; the person simply happened to be born in Greece, and his achievements are his achievements alone. Claiming anything else is nationalistic rubbish.
Title: Re: Flappy Birds, Greek version

Exactly what Xant said. You'll find pride in what some people have achieved which you had no part in. That's one of the main reasons I never could become nationalistic: I can't find pride in what other people have done, just like I can't find guilt for crimes they have commited either. I applaud them for their achievements but nothing more than that. And the fact that even if you believe in Creationism or Evolution you'll believe that all humans developed from  common ancestors. When do you draw the lines "we're this people and you're that people". And most of the times people have many nationalities in their bloodline.

Despite i am one of the least nationalist out there i have to disagree with that; the nation had a big impact on the person, there's a specific reason why sokratis, plato Aristotle and so were greeks and not Chinese, because they grew in greece and were influenced by greek thoughts.

Wait a minute Panos... wait a minute... why do you have in your title "Iósif Vissariónovich Stalin"? Is this some sort of a joke or what the hell is this? You are a fan of Stalin but you are a nazee at the same time...? error 404.
People don't choose their custom titles, so the word "custom" is a bit misleading here.

Bonus :
I have to agree about the video that these decades Europe will have a huge problem with the musliman immigration that is coming in mass. For example in Sweden, there are a lot of violations, most of them caused by these sub(humans)saharians and there increased the violence and criminality rate seriously. So yeah, these type of things will happen often in these new decades in the rest of European countries, and I think that in this case I understand why the national parties are becoming so popular these years.

I have yet to see Panos and Berskeradin once discuss communism/nationalism or whatever they're both on about. All they do is just insult and swear at eachother, discussing nothing. - In every thread.

Which makes up 90% of the entertainment value so just let them go with the flow.

You live in a great country with great history.

Why do you always reduce yourself and your nation's identity to germany?
Thought this was some really epic and successful baiting but I am afraid chadz might have been serious, judging from his other post.

Also, I live in the nation with the GREATEST history.

Pretty much. Only other legit contenders are Italian with Roman Empire/Republic but after Roman Empire fell Italy never got big again and turned gay. And Spain who had like 200-300 years max of epic history after medieval time during the time when they trolled native Americans.
