We would like to inform everyone that Bubastan will be a faction for the upcoming strat round.
Our current leaders are made up of the following 2 people:
Butan (general diplomat)
GK_Buba the Vagabond (diplomat)
Anyone that would like to contact us can do so threw TS, steam with any of the 2 names mentioned, and/or PM us threw the forums email.
TS: 176.9.48.138
Bubastan is a peaceful group mostly focused with herding goats and keeping to their own.
Each member is an entity on his own, and he will do as he pleases.
Since we do need someone to handle contacts with other factions it might as well be me or Butan.
Alliances: no.
Friends: no one.
*Enemy's: non, at least not really. I mean we are not with anti UIF or UIF.
*A note on our relation towards other factions in strat.
Now, from the very start of this strat we have seen several people msg' ing us with what we now call the " be our friends OR ELSE" story.
I am not the kind of guy to calls out names *cough KINGRIMM *cough but we are getting very tired of this.
No, Bubastan is not interested in a non aggression pact, friendship, alliance, brother in arms against the evil UIF or being your vassal.
No, we are not impressed with words like: "All out war, we will hunt you down, PWEASE BE OUR FRIENDZ :))),It would be best for the both of us and other offerings of so called friendship combined with some kind of threat towards us".
We are raiders, and we welcome war.
Is this a problem for you? are you sad that one of your caravans gets attacked once a month or whatever?
Then do please, pretty please with sugar on top, try to get rid of us.
We are interested in opportunities that works for both sides, IF its equal and IF it benefits Bubastan.
Also we are looking for more members, are you tired being on the leash of your faction leader? Do not want to be ordered around anymore?

Was laughing badly when i saw ur attack on slezkh. That would have been great victory, but cuz this community is so "lame", there were only 10 defenders. So basically u could have taken any castle that couldve had 10k troops with plate gear, cuz noone came to defend it. I dunno can you be congtratuleted about that?

No, just simply no. I dont have anything against Bubastan, but damn this community, others are fighting against 70 players when they attack castles, and others against 10, its nice . So no, theres nothing to congratulate in this battle. Congrats to GO, DRZ, Byz, Kapis and Bro's for taking places even when there has been +50 defenders(if there has been any), but for attacking a castle against 10 defenders, no. That is just my opinion.
Hope you guys understand what i mean.
So what kinda gear we gonna get from the first castle in north?

Im being butthurt cuz i would have liked to apply for attacker (if they would have taken me), but there were so little defenders that i thought i dont apply at all, cuz theres allmost no fight. But remembered that there will be plate and just wanted to "feel" it :p. I dont like battles where one side is overwhelming the other with roster, gear difference isnt so bad, those fights can still be good, but when the other side has third of the other in players, i rather not join it at all.
It was a good and smart move from Bubastan, i was thinking after Fenris lost that second attack that someone will try to take that castle under their nose, but the way they got it in the battle itself was a bit lame, mostly cuz the ones attacking it first didnt come to defend it. And for real, with that amount of defenders they really could have taken allmost any fief, buts its good to take one out of ur enemy, especially when its middle of their lands :D

Gimest: if you hate the fact that nobody wanted to defend... why didn´t you go defend it then? We, attacker, had only 22men roster against 10 of defenders. One or two more defenders could have made a huge difference in outcome.

we take in everyone. unless roster is full. which never is since anti-uif is being childish and not rostering for us because we raided one or two caravans like 2 months ago.

The size of one side relative to the other always works against the outnumbered, if no roster job is done upstream.
Noone tried to really defend this castle, so it was overwhelmed quite easily.
The roster unbalance is the result of the operation itself :wink:
I am very proud of what we have done, despite the lack of explosivity in the siege itself (it was a fairly slow grind of hatchet against plate :lol:), I will do a RP around this and hopefully it will give you more goose bumps and chills :)

I get you, I really do.
And even though I prefer nice awesome toe to toe battles with a near victory, I dont have the means to do that in strat since Im not in a big clan.
So, I attacked a castle with only a 108 troops in it after Fernis completely fucked up their siege against it.
I attacked because I knew a lot of people hate Kingrimm (not me btw, I dont even know the guy). Nobody wants to sign up for a lost battle with such a difference.
We where hoping/ aiming for people not to sign up to much. And get the castle really really really ridiculously easy.
A gamble because if Fernis and friends signed up and made a full roster that would have hurt me till the point I would not be able to hold the castle afterwards.
But they dint. so plan worked.
