So i am very confussed with all this about strat. So how do i buy gear? I clicked on the plus thing but when i reload the page it just resets. And when i do buy gear does it give it to all of my people? Speaking of, i have 100 troops? I thought troops were my clan members, but they are not even close to me? Truthfully what IS troops? What do they do? Like for an example, say i have 100 troops and i attack a castle with 1000, but the castle is owned by a smaller faction with 10 people and mine has around 50, will i loose the fight? Will the battle be on an official strat server? I am very confused with all of this.....

Strategus is frozen, thats why you couldnt buy nothing.
The new round begins this Saturday.

the "Strategus for dummies (http://forum.melee.org/strategus-general-discussion/strategus-for-dummies/)" is from 2011, most parts are out-of-date.

so basically everyone makes troops on the map automatically, based on how much they play crpg (max production rate you have to play maybe 2 hours a week or something i'm not sure)
you can attack fiefs (villages, castles, towns) with soldiers to make them yours
when you own a fief, you can choose which equipment (armour, weapons, horses), that village can produce
once you've chosen it, any player will be able to go to that village and buy the gear.
you can tell the gear is specialised for that village because it won't have two little red minus marks in the picture.
you make money buy buying goods from a village with a low price and selling it far away at a high price.
