Title: The people playing this game...

...Are fcking awsome!

No seriously. I have been playing on and off for some time, but havent really played a lot untill the last month or so.

The first thing that comes to mind is "omg... why the fck is evryone so much better than me!"

Then, after getting slightly better its more like this "omg i suck at this... People are going to rage on me, calling me names and sht..."

Finally i realize this "People are actually giving advice, encourageing me and generally just act nice... I like this place!"

So what i am trying to say is this:

You people here are generally speaking a nice bunch.

Anytime you ask a question in-game, you get a mix of earnest do-gooders trying to help and misdirecting trolls that would put Snidely Whiplash to shame. But even the trolls want you to keep playing. CRPG community has a good heart, but sometimes dirty mouths.

There are a few arseholes but the majority of people are fine.

I have a shortlist of always mute people, not many on it. Unfortunately some of the best players are the biggest idiots, but strangely only in ingame chat but not on TS. Bizarre how people you can come to dislike via the ingame chat are actually ok.

There's quite a few clans who are willing to help out new players if you're looking to get into some teamwork (which I feel makes the game fifty-leven times more fun)!
Here's some of the clans I know that actively help new players and have a nice sense of teamplay in the NA servers:
