Title: Petition to convert server EU5 (Under level 20 server) into an Event server.

I`ll keep it short, because I really don`t want to bore you with a wall of text.

Right now, we have a 120 slots server, sitting there always empty.

Eu5 was opened to help recently retired players to level up a bit faster, thing is that when someone retires, he instantly joins a DTV server because DTV is by far the most rewarding game mode.

In the past, the Fallen clan organized some special events because they had their own private server, imagine the possibilities if we had an EU_Event_Server.

Sure, Strategus is 4 days away, but I can guarantee you that, people will always participate/look forward for a special event, either that be a Tournament or a Theme Battle!

And in case you aren`t convinced by my sayings, watch this video




Now imagine that each sunday for example we had special themed battles/sieges : Saracens V Templars, Turks V Byzantines etc etc.

Instead of EU5, just give double EXP to any new player below 20 lvl.

If i remember correctly, tuetensuppe's Halloween event did pretty well, right?
An event server would be pretty fun in my opinion.

Honestly, I dont get why do we have to grind from 1-30 so many times. It takes too damn long to reach 30. Why couldnt you just automatically reach 30 every time you retire if you are 10+ or 15+ gen. Like you still have to make up for the required XP to get past 30, but you still get the skillpoints and attributes upfront and the XP still halfes everytime you respec. Being below 30 is not fun. Sometimes I didnt play for months after retiring, simply because the leveling is an absolute fucking bore, if you did it many times before.

I know you meant Event and Commander Mode server, but you should still consider correcting the error.

1 day after and almost 90% of the community wants the server converted!

Hopefully the devs will see it and take action!

That is factually untrue. It was, no doubt, the awesome commander for the Knights, who made the difference...  :twisted:

Arabs vs Templars (any Crusade battle)

Vikings (THE REAL Hardrada, not the cRPG imbecilic version) vs Britmy old friends (Stamford Bridge)

Teutonic Knights (Livonian Order) vs Russian Drunkards (Battle of the Ice on frozen lake Peipus, map made by Vagabond on my request)

Turklings vs Serbs (+ some minor bosnians and albanians, Kosovo Polje, starding odds: 3:1 in favor of Turklings, not only for historical accuracy but for fun as well since they will probably teamkill 1/3 of their army with initial charge & swinging, we gotta keep it interesting)

Seljuqs vs Byzantines (for odds see the comment above)

Scots vs Britmy old friends (Falkirk, Bannockburn, even better if someone could be bothered to add that Scottish equipment in this mod)

Normans-French vs Britmy old friends (Hastings)


etc, etc, plus:

Big Clan Battles = big + little clans vs other big + little clans, organized like it used to be. Or even better: since Strat is mainly about 2 blocks you don't randomize the clans but instead just have big organized battles between members of those blocks with some clear rules to prevent nonsense. UIF and their asskissers on one side vs Resistance & other weaklings on the other side.

I can see at least half a dozen interesting Sunday evenings throughout 2014, maybe even more if someone adds more ideas for grand battles.
