Title: A bit lost.
Post by: ilikere19 on February 06, 2014, 02:38:07 am
So next gen i want to go poles/throwing, but not that weak type runs away throwing/poles, something good and strong, I dont really care MUCH about athletics, any suggestion for builds? And would 94 wpf in throwing be enough?

You'll have to remember that it is 11xdifficulty of throwing weapon, so if you had a weapon that is 6 difficulty, you would needs at least 66 wpf maybe a little more. But I heard 110 throwing is great for anything except for throwing heavy builds. I created 2 builds that you might use.

Level 30

strength: 18
agility: 18

converted skills to attributes: 2

IF: 5
PS: 6
Ath: 6
PT: 6
WM: 6

Polearm: 136
Throwing: 94

I got this build from the cRPG calculator(it does not have new wpf formula's so it might be off a bit).

I see, thx for the feedback, another build i was thinking was this:
 21
15

7ps
5wm
3ath
7if
7pt

100wpf poles
94 wpf throw

I'd use about 50 armor with this build, jsut to be strong and tanky, you think it might work?

I think it might work, never tried it. lol :D

Edit: If you want to try it out, respec your stf to the build. With the 7 pt, you should use the throwing lances(just saying).

i'd drop 2-3 from IF and give it to athletics. I just dont feel like it(IF) makes a huge difference, 5 athletics however will allow you to be more maneuverable.
