Mendro has the best throwers build, something like 30-15, you might want to take tips from him because im sure 1 more PT is not worth more thann 4 ATHL

but for the record that was my old build so yawn whatever  8-)

better than having "the best" throwing build is to have "the most" throwing build

+1  My dream build was always 15 riding and +3 courser with +3 Practice Lance. Fuck the generic cookie cutter 18/18, 21/21, 21/18, 18/21 shitty melee builds. I want over the top fun gimmick builds.

Rank 4 admins(Item balancers) and higher have access to it. It's for testing/balance purposes. It's extremely useful for testing purposes. When I give damage numbers on the forums, it's generally from actual in game tests, not a damage calculator.

It tells you everything you need to know, just not necessarily in the most convenient way. You can figure out most things based on the raw damage or the ratio between raw damage and how much you "hit for".

If you want a gimmicky build, make a boxer.

All you need is strength, power strike, and iron flesh. Like a 2h tank baddie, but with fists.



Its the only way I have fun in cRPG anymore.

Make a STF with +3 Throwing Lances and 10 PT. Tell me how much DMG you do.

I'd give anything to get damage info like that in cRPG. It would be a like a new game for me (and several other people I imagine).

I know the reasoning for leaving it out ("Nerf xxx, I got hit for yyy dmg!" threads every time someone gets killed), but for us maths nerds, it would be so fun. Maybe enable it as a privilege that gets revoked if you post a nerf thread including damage screenshots?

As much as I would enjoy that I'm perfectly comfortable with just our item balancing team having it.  I feel like with everyone having that it takes a little mystery out of the game and could be used to constantly complain which God knows we have enough of as is.  :?

I think I recall Tydeus saying the main reason it is not for players is so people don't min/max and ruin diversity.

With that much PT and low amount of wpf don't you only have an effective 1 or 2 PT lol. Someone with only 12 str would be more effective than you. :P

Good build for you, useless for your team. Without power strike and ATH your not able to help ranged teammates. Throwing is supposed to be a support class.
I didn't play crpg since 2 or 3 week, but it's sad to see some people making this kind of build just for wololo shots. That no how throwing work.
I miss the old time were just something like 5 dedicated throwers in CRPG.

You're boring. Kill hungry whores who just wanna top the scoreboards (not impossible with these gimmick builds) and use the boring 24/15, 18/18, 21/18, 15/24 cookie cutter builds. Try something different for once.

Had a 9 pt build last year, not as great as a higher agi build probably but still fucking amazing. (look at da jurnero throwing is lances over the walls in eu2)

I still remember that awesome moment with I believe some guys from HRE, fallen and quincy (might be forgetting others) where we joined EU1 with this build, build a weapon rack on the spawn and had a pretty good last stand.
The next round the team started helping us and the weapon rack with 3 throwers became a well defended fort with throwing lances in the ground ready to be picked up and thrown, surrounded by siege shields and stakes.

The enemy team was obliterated. :D
