Yes it is time...

The first hardcore rager for me was actually GW. I was having a shitty day and I was trying to finish a quest when this giant group of Mesmers spawned and raped me repeatedly. Since it has the death penalty thing I couldn't go on from there. That was like 3 hours of my life completely wasted...

So I punched my monitor and shattered the screen. Luckily I was going to get a new one soon anyways.

When i was young i used to rage when i played snes. My brother had one of those turbo pads which i used to shatter into pieces. Luckily it was simple to fix it and after hundreds of times i could have done it blindfolded :)

My cousin's PS2 controller while playing KH2 (i think, not sure), we were trying to get 100% progress, and  had been stuck in on one of those optional missions for hours and were forcing the controller when it suddenly snapped, one of the two hand holder thingy becoming unattached. I quickly put it back in place, gave it to him, and in his next try he finished breaking it.

I have accidentally broken a few of mouses by grabbing them, forgetting about the wire and pulling them away, even one with one of the browser clicking madness games.

...when we lost the last match in the WCG qualifier for the live-tournament in Korea after 6 rounds overtime -.-

Broke mouse and keyboard when the last bullet hit the head of my team mate just a second from defusing :cry: Traumatic event...

Punched crt monitors , kicked cases , slammed flippers at the bar but the game that made me crazy is called crpg. The madness is constant , swearing everywhere , don't blame my neighbours if they would call police at 4:00 am.
i'm getting old and i don't know if my heart can keep this situation , apparently i'm a quiet guy but when the rage is mode on you better call Saul and Spongebob.
Oh Raven Shield and COD 4  made me rage a lot when i was younger and playing competitive in clanbase and esl ladders , good old times  :(

I used to play a lot of pingpong as a child and broke several paddles when I threw them against the wall in anger.

Same here. Except that I hit the desk with my palm (hurting my hand badly), probably because my desk is not sturdy enough to handle a full throttle punch.

Yeah, last desk I had I slammed it so hard I split it down the middle. I've hit the keyboard so hard some of the keys flew off of it, flattened a mouse and I smashed a guitar hero guitar rockstar style. When I was younger I would throw NES controls and the like but I wasn't strong enough to actually do any damage then.

This probably happens because I don't really get angry at any other point in daily life.

killed the joypad and joypad plug-slot in the console :C henceforth only 1player games :C

edit: oh and of course several commodore joysticks died in various games due to rage  :lol:

You can't really rage at games if you played stuff like UO, Darkfall or Eve Online. There is simply nothing on the line with normal types of games and you realise that when you play high stake stuff like that.

How the hell some game like this can matter to you I don't know:

the last 5sec of the vid I was like ROFLMFAO

but its not the game itself as such its not because the gfx is awesome and the gameplay is epic. its because you need and want improve, if you don't the world will end

played darkfall till the beta , i raged at first but when i understood the mechanics (skill was more important than loot) , i just went into pvp battles or sieges in bone armor  or scale and even if i was only melee/archer when the majoruty of players were mages i enjoyed it a lot (also without loot or kill anyone)

It's mostly about the ppl who want to beat up shit anyways and are searching for a way to do it.
I mean no real fan would harm his own team, other fans and the puplic environment like those idiots do.
Imo it's like people who go to a demonstration just to have some fights with the police, it harms the actual demonstrants and themselves but still they do it.

Broke my laptop when playing crpg few years back :D I had already ordered a new one, so I decided to take my revenge on that piece of crap for all those bluescreens and random frozes it had done to me.

I've also broken one headset, not because of rage but because of my sneezing. Every time I sneeze my head tip forwards to fast that the headset flies off  :lol: Now I've learned to hold on to it.

I've broken stuff inadvertenly.

Like: putting something spillable/breakable near edge, hitting desk and knocking it off, type stuff.

I broke a controller playing CoD once but ever since that I've learnt to never overreact. It's helped me in cRPG a lot. lol

I never broke anything on purpose while playing. If i have a rage moment, sometimes i start cursing or clap my hands, there was a period when i often clapped my hands after i got killed/teamkilled  on eu1  :lol:   something  like "Nice, good job... you dickhead!"

In tibia death penalty was huge. So i was about to do something amazing, i worked for it like 2 weeks. Then a much stronger character one-shotted me like i was a rat. I throw my watch to the wall and it didnt work after that :D

I did the same to one headset in a sneezing fit.

Otherwise, no, I just don't get angry. I'll get annoyed beyond redemption, but I won't get pissed off.
Not quite sure how I managed, but I guess I started logically thinking through the anger and realized it got me nowhere.
