Title: Retain, Retrain, and Renew our community!

I was thinking that we've had a lot of new members join, and a lot of old ones since the double xp implementation. Now this isn't a post about double xp, however, it is a post about helping out the community by making a series of videos on the basics and advance information about how Melee works in cRPG, how ranged works, how character building and stats works, etc.

If we could get some of our adept members of the community to fraps themselves in fights and possibly do a commentary of their film, I would be willing to edit the videos post them on youtube so that our newer members may have a visual aid in conjunction with the information on the forums to ease the brutal learning curve that exists in the game.

Melee for one is something that must be practiced, but visually seeing how hit boxes, ranged weapons, foot work, and positioning can work through a skilled mentor of the community will help these new souls out tremendously and will, what I believe, hook them into the game once they have at least some steady footing of the basics.

If you guys would be interested, please PM me as this would be an exceptional opportunity to help retain our newer members.

- Defenders will be known as "Plague Infected", attackers will be know as "Cleansers"
- All DTV bots have to be zombies.
- cRPG have to be renamed to zRPG.
- New slogan: "zRPG - Curing plague the medieval way!"
- zRPG will be in a permanent early access pre-alpha version, so it can be sold for 59 Euro on Steam
- List as many un-released features as possible ( space combat, ultimate crafting experience, possibility to share characters via social media services, exclusive game features for Apple-users, etc., )
- A 9,99 Euro monthly subscription for premium ( pink arrows pack, kuyak armor set, super heavy great maul, 0 slot extralongbow)
- Emo asian haircuts ( with optional pink, lime and magenta colors for premium pack subscribers )
- Add Bling!
- A hip-hop/dub-step soundtrack
- Teabagging animations

M:BG and Bannerlord have a long road ahead until they can provide the current features of cRPG.

Also, Armpit, a medieval zombie game is a fucking great idea.

When I read the first post and I read the last few posts I was very confused how the thread got to where it is now...haha

Staying slightly on task, finding someone or a group of people to do this would be the hardest part of it.

Was checking out the members list and it looks like on the forums alone we've had 59 new members this month (The past 15 days) I guess if you consider the form that Crpg was once in it may seem like it's dying, but maybe it's just hibernating.  :rolleyes:

EDIT: Also we need Skrillex to work on soundtrack, because listening to that brain bleach his fans call music makes everything instantly cool.

cRPG isn't dying. Sure, Chivalry is an other game in the genre that doesn't suck major ballsack, and Chiv is more mainstream in that it's faster, more brutal and easier to get decent in than M&B. However, M&B/cRPG is a more complete medieval combat game, which is also more strategy based than others in the genre. Also remember that the ones still left in the game, are some very good players. Most of the people help to create a great community. A very big amount of the players are in clans, compared to other multiplayer games.

To conclude, I'd say that cRPG is a mod for a game that was never really that "famous". However, very many players who play M&B (whatever mods they like) stay with the game for a long time. I'm guessing when Bannerlord is out, very many cRPG players will move over, but perhaps we will get a Bannerlord cRPG? or perhaps people will come back to cRPG while waiting for a mod like that.

I would not worry for the cRPG fanbase, it may be small, but it is hard as steel.
