A little now and then i order some stuff from northerner. So far it has mostly been dip but i thought id try some more stuff next time. Problem is that i know nothing about the brands "over there" so i was hoping i could get some advise on:
Chew (have tried red man, mail pouch and stokers cherry. All of em was ok)
Cigars (high quality and/or cheap ones which is still alright)
-
Quit before you lose your lip. That's my help for you.
-
Can't stand chew, don't mind snus though.
Ashton cigars are pretty awesome, they sell for around $10 per at my local shop.
-
I used to work at a headshop we sold cigars.
I like "Acid" brand cigars... they are the smaller ones (forget the fancy name for the cigar size) but they have a silhouette of a guy leaning on a bike with dreadlocks as their "emblem" or w/e. best flavor was vanilla bourbon.
They were lightly flavored and I liked them the best. they were 4.99 or 5.99 per cigar.

Stay away from anything lower than 4 dollars per cigar, in my experience they are never good. Find somewhere that stores their cigars in a humidor or environmentally controlled. If they are just sitting in a box out in the open they are probably really cheap or ruined and/or too dry.
Also most of the ones you will find in a glass tube w/ a cork top are fairly high quality. Most of them.
You can always ask the person behind the counter too, if it's a smokeshop they should be semi knowledgeable... If they are like me they spent a lot of time reading the free cigar magazines vendors give to the headshops. :P
If that fails just buy the more expensive ones, you can always taste the difference between a cheap 2-3$ dollar cigar or a 10$ cigar. Unless you've never smoked a cigar before.
Sadly I don't know anything about chew... never tried the stuff.

Tip is don't do it. +1 Rumblood.

Why chew tobacco when you can chew betel nuts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Areca_nut)? For real though I don't think chewing tobacco is worth importing. For cigars just find one of the many cigar afficionado forums online, or sign up for free catalogs from cigar vendors.
The only other thing I have to say on the subject is that snus helped me quit tobacco as a regular habit.

Thanks for answers guys i will check em up :) Sadly im limited to this one only shop as they are the only ones shipping to sweden. And about comments "dont do it" etc ive been a tobacco user for many years so such comments are well uhm rather pointless :p

About chewing tobacco, its a bit exotic since it does not exist here (except red man imported). I love testing odd stuff :D
-
if you like to smoke cigarillos i have to recommend guajiro aromas from spain, probably the best cigarillo i've ever smoked.
-
Interesting and should be possible to find here aswell, i will look them up! Thanks :)

I gave up smoking 5 years ago, but once in a blue moon I enjoy a cigar, one of my favourites is the Romeo y Julieta No.1, some people have said they had some bad ones but every one of those I've smoked has been really enjoyable.
-
I agree ryj are fine cigars :) Their snus is horrible though :D
-
You could also partake in the pipe :)
-
I do smoke pipe sometimes aswell but sadly they didnt have any other than the pipe tobacco sold here :)
-
Don't know much about chew except everyone in New Mexico who uses it, thinks everything but Copenhagen is shit. As for cigars.. Backwoods makes a "good" cheap flavored cigar. Nothing fancy but a pretty decent "any occasion" smoke that won't take hours. :)

Can confirm, Backwoods is cheap and pretty damn great.
I'm no cigar guy, though. I stick to my American Spirits and the occasional pipe.

Backwoods is actually sold here and they are very enjoyable. I gave my father a package of backwoods honey once and they reminded him of a cigar from when he was younger so it ended up so ill buy a bunch of packages for him every summer :)
Also copenhagen i have tried and i really like it (one of the "must have" when i make the order).

I gave up smoking. Now when I really want to smoke I go the route of snuff for the nicotine.
You guys should try it it's different but quite enjoyable and there are lots of different types and flavours.

I've been using an ecig off and on for three years to help me quit.
I've absolutely slowed down on cigarette smoking but nothing kicks quite as hard as a perique Spirit.
Especially unfiltered ones.
On the flipside, don't even get me started on flavors.
I switch between apple turnover and strawberry sundae regularly.
Plus, it makes your room smell heavenly without the work of actually baking an apple turnover.

If you like cigars that aren't super heavy, Punch cigars are good (particularly the London Club), I haven't gone wrong with "Punch" cigars yet, and they are not expensive either:
Never used this website, before, but this is the cigar I'm talking about:
http://www.famous - smoke.com/punch+london+club+cigars/item+9729 (that website asked me to remove that link for some obscure reason, -chadz)
Also give up on the chew/dip man, it's disgusting and a bad habit to get into (I chewed all through high school and as a young adult) . Some women can deal with the smell of smoke on a guy, but not many are going to want to be around you when you're chewing.
When I was smoking "cigars" daily, I would just smoke a Black & Mild Wood tip cigar (not the wine flavored wood tip):

Thanks ill check them up aswell :)
Also about dip/chew. I use snus on a daily basis, i have been for about 15-20 years. Dip/chew i do a few times now and then coz i like to get a change in flavours. I do use it as snus the few times aswell (upper lip and no spitting).
About ladies and this kind of tobacco is no problem here. 26% of male and 6% female population in sweden use snus regulary so ppl are used to it. (+ im married and the mrs really dont mind it).
Oh crap im getting old!

Oh, I just upgraded from a little box mod to an eVic.

Super nice device.
You can also plug it into your PC for firmware updates and check graphs on total usage and tons of other stuff.
I'm hoping this should help me keep track of just how much I'm using it.
Anyway, yes! They do help cut down.
