Title: Unable to play old characters on new serial key version of Mount and Blade

When I made my account I was using a non-Steam copy of Mount and Blade, and now I have a Steam version and as such a different. Now I'm unable to access any of my old characters, as it tells me they are already taken. I had a similar problem in NordInvasion, and the solution was to have an admin transfer the data to characters on the new serial key, is this the same for cRPG? If so, how do I access the admins to do that?
