This has already been pointed out many times, but the issues remain the same.
It is almost half the price of the Great Sword, yet
- It has the same damage on the swing
- Has an extra 6 speed
- Has a weapon length that is arguably better for most group fighting situations
Please, item balancers. If you're going to allow players to have access to a weapon with such impressive stats, at least make them pay more than 6k for it

I get the internal balance thing, but really, if I use a weapon and the price gets increased reasonably, I'm still going to use it. I feel at this stage of cRPG, melee weapon price has little effect, as I tend to use whatever weapons I want, just changing the armour to save money etc etc
That said, I feel it should be similarly priced to the two handed sword, so around 8k.
It might be best to wait until the new item balance-rs are chosen, as many have promised to bring internal balance to the forc- uh I mean weapons.

to be honest if you look that way on all wheapons we will have to increase prize on all weapons

I mean, the speed is ok, but the damage?
I'd propose 21p stab, 34 cut slash. That way, all the mw'd longswords just become regular longswords. Which may I remind you, are powerful enough in their own right.

The damage is ok, just reduce its speed. There is plenty of space in the 2h arsenal for swords around 97

No, it's unarguably not.

This pretty much. BS, HBS and LS have to become real 1/2h weapons with flexibility being their greatest asset, not raw stats.

The reach difference is only a small percentage as most (all) 2h attack directions get a reach bonus.
Swap the price of 'two handed sword' and long sword.
The person who said they would just use lighter armour , you are nerfed so the wep is effectively nerfed.

If it helps, make them 2h with 1h alternate mode instead. Stick THAT in your paradigm!

That would make the HBS way better than the Longsword. Keep stats, increase price, and make it have an appropriate 1h/2h mode.
Honestly if people don't care about price then why not increase it's price to something high. I mean you don't care right?

Well, with that mindset, I won't even begin to tell you why I think differently.
You see, 2h sideswing animation is very fitting for a group fights itself, even with bigger reach, as it hits early and doesn't require much space around you, so the difference with LS isn't really significant. And longer-reach stab and overhead are more than enough to compensate that.

Agreed. I should have said it's a better group fighting weapon in some situations. Keeping in mind that group fighting is alot different between EU, NA and even Aus.
I still think the longsword has more than enough reach and is pretty much the superior 2h at the moment.
