Title: A way to limit the amount of classes...
Post by: Ronin on December 31, 2013, 11:44:15 am
So everyone says that the amount of ranged, cav, etc. are a problem. I have an idea:

Bronze premium account:
$9.99
Unlocks Riding skill

Silver premium account:
$19.99
Unlocks PD skill

Golden premium account:
$29.99
Unlocks HA skill

So it will make playing those classes as lame as they should be. It will also limit the amount of classes in servers.

You should get paid for playing 2H because it's such a hard class.

I never saw the game as balanced until I reached my best.
No clue if it is either me being more casual about doing well and dying horribly or if it is something else.

Then again rage-specing and failing horribly at the build that kills you does tend to give some perspective.

You should get paid for playing 2H because it's such a hard class.
Shielders are the ones who should get paid.  Everyone hides behind them and they're usually in the front softening the enemy up so the 2 handers can get the easy kills.

Can't wait for the trading card system (http://forum.melee.org/general-discussion/if-eu-crpg-were-a-trading-card-game-what-would-be-the-cards/) and badges. Gonna keep the rare ones and trade in the others for an Edna the Witch hat.

No, because no one is worried about crossbows. Even if you get shot by a bolt, the problem is the "archery".
