Just a unimportant gimmick or could this get some bigger thing? I´m thinking f.e. about MOBA-games, where you can see your teams characters faces ingame.
Nevertheless, it´s an interesting idea.

I think it will be more for creating animated movies with facial expressions a lot easier than having an animator do the work with a skeleton and frames. Someone is about to lose their job :o

My friend showed me this -- it's a really cool piece of software, and from a nerd perspective I love the technology behind it.
On the other hand I don't have any crushing desire to be/bang a Fox/wolf/cat/shark/majestical dragon, nor have a webcam, so this doesn't really apply to me

I'm pretty sure Everquest 2 already "invented" this. Or at least talked about implementing it a few months back.
