There reason for this suggestion is rather simple:
Whenever an update to crpg occurs there is no way to just update the game and not having it launch instantly.
I never play without the heirloom package cuz in my opinion it adds the great possibility to actually see and recognize the weapon you're facing in combat (not to mention my own char looks way cooler with it).
So every update the game starts instantly, I have to close it again, install the heirloom package and start the game again. Please add a checkbox for "Only update/not launching" so I have to start the game only once :)
Yes, I am that lazy.

I might give it a try. Still, a little checkbox would be even more comfortable. I imagine it is rather easy to implement too. Maybe just 10 min of coding and uploading?

In windowed mode the window is resizable. Thus, windowed > full screen
Also, I thought the crpg launcher only took you to the M&B launcher. You can still install the heirloom pack at the launcher, because the game files are only loaded after you launch the game.

Killing the warband process from the instant it starts takes two seconds, give or take one second.

You can open the task manager and kill warband as soon as it takes control of your screen

But what reason do I have to exit warband for no reason? Plus, I can just press the x button on the top right corner that works too
