So when you break a shield with any kind of melee weapon, you would do the same precentage of damage as you would do when doing a maul crushthrough.

I don't see the point in this if its even possible. Breaking the shield stuns the guy pretty bad and removes his biggest asset. a shielder vs other melee is at a stat disadvantage without a shield so why punish them with damage and stun just for having a shield broken?

What stun? I usually get hitted after I break the shield as I think he would be stunned but nope

That would just enforce shielders to drop their shield a second before it gets broken, not a big deal.

Yes please! How fucking amazing wouldn't it be to hit through some peasants shield and spit his skull all the way to his neck (I'll have to imagine that, warband animations sadly don't really look that vivid:(
