Title: Does wp increase while using weapon?

like on elder scrolls games? I read that on crpg wiki, but didnt know that.

No.  WPF levels can only be acquired by purchasing them with the points you get from AGI and Weapon Mastery.

From crpg wiki:
 "Proficiencies can be increased in two ways. One is to simply use the weapon in combat, and over time your skill with it will increase as you hit enemies with it. The other is to spend Proficiency Points gained upon level-up on the proficiency of your choice. ę

That is what happens in native single player mode of Warband. In crpg, you can only earn WPF the way Nehvar described.

Does crpg wiki even work anymore? Couldn't find a link...  Anyway if you somehow read it, it must be mostly outdated.
