So... There is a bunch (mainly polearms) that cries about 2h being super easy mode and so on, just the usual shit.
I'll just cut to the chase instead of my life story ;)
Why do polearmers think that 2h is so easy and that polearm requires "more" skill?
Atleast I remember that when I went polearm (long war axe mainly) it was almost easier than 2h if not; easier in the beginning due to the high dmg polearms do.
Feel free to discuss :))

Since you`re asking for honesty, Ill give it to you.
Mr.K`s main is a level 34 1hander/cav, he NEVER topped the scoreboard, let alone do scores like 15-2 or even better, since he started playing 2h agi based , he became a god of the battlefields, almost topping withount any effort, he just backpedalls A LOT, and he spams his 2h sword.
And the same thing applies to you aswell, I`ve seen you playing with other classess , and you almost never topped the scoreboard, but since you grabbed a kuyak and a 2h sword, you also became a god of the battlefield.
Sure, people can become better at a game with training, no one denies that, but you also can`t deny the fact, that if most 2handers try another class apart from 2h, will be the least mediocre.
For me, 2h class will always be the easiest class of this game.

Mr.K's 2h is also lvl 34. 21/21 build i believe, not exactly a agi-based build.
And you are wrong about me, I'm not a god I've just played ALOT of 2h, probably over 1500 hours of pure 2h.
Also, It was the same when I used axes, they are easy and their only con is simply: Stab, but the regular hits is more than enough to compensate.
And your weapon Panos?
Isin't it a long bardiche with 49 cut? you need at most 3 hits, if not only 2 against most players.
2h does not give blocking hax, nor does it give insta skill, atleast that is my opinion.
And I Respect your opinion Panos, and I think that you are a nice guy but the recent whine is not fitting for you!

2h animations seem much more smooth and intuitive to me, especially with feints. Plus you get better turn speed for similar effective reach vs polearms thanks to arm extension differences between animations.
The speed and hangtime on the stab is the stuff of legend.
I still can't stand using 2h unless I'm just running around flanking and stabbing people with an estoc though, the lack of a defend nudge really kills it for me.

It would be even (2h vs polearms) if there weren't so many 2h cunts abusing lolstab and using macro feints.
Still, polearms left swing is godlike imho. And overhead is better. Also those two Axes, Long Axe and Long War Axe are so broken that I almost won polearm duel against Tor, while wearing ragged outfit. He had his Mighty GLA, I picked up someone's Mighty Long War Axe from the ground. It's so much faster it's not even funny.
Polearms OP weapons: Awlpike, Ashwood Pike, any of those long stabby polearms (Swiss Halberd, English Bill, Ranseur, Spetum, Partisan, Long Awlpike), Long Axe, Long War Axe, Poleaxe, German Poleaxe, Long Bardiche.
Twohanded OP weapons: Greatsword, Sword of War, Longsword, Heavy Bastard Sword, Barmace, Long Iron Mace, Great Maul, Mallet, Great Bardiche, German Greatsword, Miaodao.
They are even if you ask me. Also one handers are even with both.

I feel 2h animations are better, somehow I block and attack better with 2h swords.
I play polearm more than 2h last year or so because it adds diveristy, sometimes I like piking allot, sometime I like LHB, GLB spam, Long Maul is still fun, basically more versitility in polearms.
Flamburger will forever stay my love tho

2h animations are easier to get on with and feint with. Feints with polearms are much easier to see :D that being said ive played less 2h than pole and 1h and i find pole and 2h both about the same. 2h animations and weapons are usually superior but the poleaxes are crazy in terms of pierce stab and cut or blunt swings :D

Well, I've been experiencing some ghost swings from axes lately. might only be me, like you see them but blurry :)

Do you have weapon trail activated? Remove it if you do, it makes swings very blurry.

hmm i had it on full trail just changed to none. cant see much difference yet :D maybe ill try it for a while

weird, thats exactly the opposite for me

Chambered left polearm swing is near instant when released, that's why you have trouble blocking it. You need to be really fast when blocking that attack. Right swing has longer reach but it easy to see.

Polearm is better and has a higher peak, but harder to use than 2H.
(Excluding duel, in which case 2H is the best and easiest.)

on my 2h alt i managed to top scoreboards here and there beginning at level... 24 or so? It feels a lot easier, but might be my perception.
