What happened to the music industry, why did it become so shitty in the past 10 years? :(

I mean listen to this, it´s so much better...

Every decade has shitty music, just whichever decade you're in exposes you to more of the crap because it is currently popular.

Similarly each decade has awesome bands and music too, just steer clear of whatever is in the charts

This is the style Daft Punk with "Get lucky" brought back to the radio.

That singer completely ruins it though. Best part is when the vocoder kicks in, because of it.

My real problem is not with the song itself though, but that its maybe the only listenable radio-hit tune for me (and many others) for years. Therefore it's repetition sucks, but there is not much else!

People usually love the music they heard when they where the most emotionally vulnerable to it. But I do prefer Elton John.

I'm sorry, I had to downvote you, that's THE worst rap song I've heard this year and not in the slightest funky.

There are modern bands that put quality nostalgia in a can and sell or give it to you

The fun thing is that this movement practically originates from the Drive movie.
