There will be a playable dino race most likely, it's an Indie made game after all, and they got more enough on their Kickstarter campaign.

Pretty sure running around as a T-Rex surviving would get boring a lot quicker than playing a person surviving vs Dinosaurs, after all with those little my old friendgy T-Rex arms they aren't going to build anything cool.

You know nothing about T-Rex. They build stuff by slamming their tail on piles of wood.

The world itself looks very pretty, with lots of cool ideas like traps (which reminds me of how siege shields/spikes are placed) and pole-vaulting to add meat to it.

Then you might try Primal Carnage, it's mostly 1 team survivers and.1 team playing with different dinosaurs to kill enemies, enjoyable for some.time!

Friends, it pains me to say this, especially when dinosaurs are involved, but it might be time to give up hope on The Stomping Land.
After far overshooting Kickstarter goals for his dinosaur survival sandbox, The Stomping Land creator Alex Fundora has seemingly abandoned the project. Freelance artist Vlad Konstantinov, who had been hired work on the project, said that he had attempted unsuccessfully to contact Fundora numerous times over the past month and hadn’t been paid for his recent work.
To make matters worse, early access to The Stomping Land is still being sold on Steam despite players warning others off in the comments. The title raised over $114,000 from a Kickstarter campaign in 2013.
