RPG is my favorite type of game but I'm struggling to find some :|
Could you suggest some to me that are:
- Realistic (little fantasy, none if possible)
- Open world/free roaming
- Set in medieval period (No guns)
- An MMO or just single player
- available for PC

I've got skyrim, got some mods for it but none that quite does it for me. Do you know of any that are major enhancements to the game?

There is really no games in that category other than M&B (non fantasy medieveal open world rpg), its kind of shocking how niche that really is.
There are of course a ton if you include fantasy. I really doubt you'll find better than Darksouls & Elderscrolls [opinion].

I haven't played darksouls, what is it like?

Gothic series (at least Gothic 1/2) come kind of close, there is magic and fantasy, but the magic part is kind of less present than in most other games.
-
The First Templar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNIHwq9cxUA) is the only RPG I can think of with the least fantasy, although it isn't really great.

Thanks for the suggestion
Is gothic similar to Risen?
-
Risen is the spiritual successor to Gothic 1/2 games, made by the same people. Gothic 3 i don't really consider part of the franchise anymore.

Initially like having your testicles in a vice, but once you get the hang of it; its a masterpiece and nobody else makes games like it.
there is a 50 page thread on these forums http://forum.melee.org/and-all-the-other-things-floating-around-out-there/dark-souls-prepare-to-die-edition/

try Witcher, sure there is a fair share of monsters and magic but I quite enjoyed the setting and the story.

Well I looked at that thread, most of the suggestions had lots of fantasy, which is why I posted this thread to try to find one that were mainly realistic
But it seems it is a lost cause :(

Really? With the community patch Gothic 3 is one of the better RPGs I've played. Without the CP it's nigh unplayable though, so fair enough.

dont worry, there are these types of games out there.
Still you may want to specify a bit more what you would like.
May it be abandontware with older graphics or only high end stuff.
When does it play, past , present or future. No Fiction at all little? puzzle solving, criminalistic, fighting, ... 2d or 3d: first person, top down, ... many many options
