Title: What is the price of a generation?
Post by: Thomek on May 15, 2011, 01:07:25 am
Please discuss before clever people take all your stuff for nickels and dimes and sell it later for PROFITS.

That's what a 1x heirloomed item is worth, one generation up to 31.

Of course some items may be in more demand than others, but generally speaking, assuming that all items are equal.

I foresee this thread getting completely avoided by most clans.

The standard I've been seeing it go for is 150,000 - 250,000. The most common being 200,000. I feel it's a fair price because in a generation you get 200,000 normally, just a lot is taken through repairs.

200,000 is what I sold my first heirloom at.

well, as long as people agree on a price, i see no problem. IF you sell an MW item for 500k and you are able to buy a new one for the same amount of gold; tehre is no problem.

As best as I can figure from the trading going on, pretty consistently for around 125K for 1x heirloomed 175K for 2x heirloomed, 250K for 3x heirloomed items, with the exceptions being bows and xbows (much better heirloom stats) which have gone for as high as 500K for 3x heirloomed on the best ones.  Also a little more gold for best/most popular weapons.  More than a few trades have worked out by having 1 guy sell something for gold and then have another deal set up to buy the item they want for similar amount of gold.  (Too difficult to find the exact match of a long espada eslavona mw owner meeting a guy with MW flamberge who want a LEE MW).

If I can find a 2x heirloom for 175k that will be my lucky day.

A couple people have already.  I think its slowing down for the day and the heirloom respec is putting a damper on trading as most people have what they want already.

I haven't seen anything 2x for less than 200k since that's all I have.

Look at the posting on the marketplace and contact sellers and negotiate.  You won't find fair trades open for long as there will be someone willing to buy it when its a fair deal.

The Marketplace is starting to fill on lots of trash for unreasonably high costs, Example: (Rocks for 93929592952 gold, Straw Hat for MW items + gold) and so on... I think some restrictions should be applied to the marketplace to stop people from spamming stupid deals.

Only allow heirlooms to be traded for other heirlooms or money or both, not basic items. Basic items can be traded with other basic items or money or both.
Thoughts?

There should be a filter option. You can uncheck basic items or which heirloom an item is.

when ppls sell u a straw hat for 10.000 gold you are really dumb and naive. and btw this topic would be better placed on general discussion.
