It's the renown ladder, which presumably has something to do with renown in strat.

i do jack shit in strat and im 24th wtf, i dont move on the map or play in that many battles, how is renown calculated?

Can a dev explains us the system of heroes and "renown" ? I'm totally lost.

I gotta assume this list is just the people with the highest renown?

"Heroes" are chars used for strat

Renown is the value of equipment used in battles where you were commanding, split between your own char and the other people in your faction (can't remember the split)

Unfortunately though when the equipment bug hits strat, it also hits renown and so what you will actually fins is the top players from both EU and NA are actually those who experienced the equipment bug most severely

You get renown for commanding battles (i.e. you are the attacker or defender, you do not necessarily have to fight). Using a magic formula a certain number of points will be determined for your side. If you are faction-less you will get all of them. If you are part of a faction the points are shared across all faction members, the commander getting the most.

Yes, we are the victims of this terrible bug.  I think we should be awarded loom points for suffering through this travesty.
