I personally think they are a great addition to the game, what about you guys?

I need a 0 slot crossbow so that I can pew pew rondel users while carrying a long maul.

They don't seem that much more useful except maybe on archers.
Xbows seem to get by fine with one set of bolts + a one slot.

Also works for if you're bad and carry around a 3 slot weapon and a buckler + a Scottish sword so you can down spam and win ez

0 slot swords are better than hammer or pickaxe :) it helps for ranged and hybrids :D

They are good, I just wish there were more types of straight two edged shortswords, like Katzbalger.

If you use a buckler and 0 slot wep, you can carry two siege shields. Actually useful on open maps if your archers aren't being guarded by shielders.
I usually wear fancy noble clothes and a silly hat while I do this. That part is recommended but not required.
