You're Damn right, thats a boulder, a big ass rock, a throwing weapon! a man's weapon!

I propose we make the equivalent to throwing lances, only blunt instead, with knockdown of course, with a small chance to cause a coma.

Quite clearly this is the greatest invention since sliced bread, i mean come on, they have been throwing boulders since the day we hunted dinosaurs up and past the point of gunpowder. 

If somebody could dig up the pic of the "large bag of throwing horses" it shows it can clearly be done.  They fit horses in a javelin bag, im sure you can carry 4 stacks of throwing boulders.

I've suggested this in throwing topics in the past. Would be really neat to have a single shot "boulder" that had terrible range, similar to ladder or siege shields. Make it 3 slots but can be picked back up (unlike stones). Weight to match 2-3 stacks of arrows or bolts.

Would be neat defending castle walls and tossing a giant rock down the attackers' ladder. Everywhere else though, you would be a liability to your team. Also, it's kind of not historically accurate at all. Would be cool though!

easily achievable, just like the eastern horses useless 8 riding.
