Hell I needed to look up a lot of things in older system to understand. But he's very good, his words are true even to this day
As kid I remember catching some radio stuff of him in 2002 before he died I think, I didn't understand anything of course because it's political humour most of the time, he criticized our current minister back then when he was in power. Funny it's the exact same thing 11 years after.
He was a very unique comedian. Improvising a lot and going his own path.

Two dead guys :rolleyes:. That Doug Stanhope dude seems to have the Bill Hicks style copied pretty well. Probably worth watching tho.

Just remembered this Finnish guy that does gigs in English occationally. I think he is pretty damn hilarious. That stuttering is part of his act even in Finnish gigs. Some people don't like it, but I think it's funny style to do stand up.

Apart from the obvious good ones already named, I always liked Emo Philips. This sketch was voted funniest religious joke of all times by... who cares. He has some good stuff.
Wikipedia describes him as Much of his standup comedy stems from the use of paraprosdokians and garden path sentences spoken in a wandering falsetto tone of voice and a confused, childlike delivery of his material to produce the intended comic timing in a manner invoking the 'wisdom of children' or the idiot savant.
