I don't think the premise that each skill level requires 3 attribute levels should be ruined. Not unless it adds something REALLY vital and awesome to the game. Will just create a lot of problems with ambiguity in character creation.

I can't wait to be a 8PD archer with 170 WPF.  I will finally get to shoot lasers in this game.

no way man...just wait til december 2010 they have a new WM/WPF formula brewing.  Your suggestion would be game breaking.
