So my monitor resolution is 2560x1440. If I set Windows font scaling to Large (150%), so I can actually read text, and then I try to play Warband or crpg, I can't move the mouse pointer. Or rather, everything operates normally, except the mouse pointer doesn't seem to be working. However, if I roll over a button, it lights up. But, of course, it is hard to roll over buttons as I have no indication of where the pointer actually is.
Has anyone found a fix to this problem other than not scaling font size to 150%? I can't read anything with just 125% or obviously 100%, but I don't want my game to look like shit, either.

In your Mount&Blade Warband\Data folder there is a file called font_data.xml.
In the second line try adjusting font_size and font_scale.
(If you lower the font_size value, font becomes bigger)
I hope this helps.

Try this: right click on the Warband executable (mb_warband.exe or crpg_beta.exe if you're using WSE2), Properties, Compatibility, and check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

Doesn't fix it, unfortunately. Ugh.

Apparently, playing in windows, but maximized is the best way to solve this. The mousing is a bit off, I'm thinking because my screen gets shrunk or cut off but the mouse scaling remains the same. So it's just off enough to compensate for the Windows top and bottom bars.
