Title: Damage Counter?

It would be nice if at the end of each round, you could see who you hit hurt and for how much, and who you got hit by and how much... Would be nice to know if that arrow u got hit in the butt from was an enemy or your teamate...

You know what would be even better?

Replace the kill counter on the scoreboard with a damage counter.

You can do lots of damage and still not get credit for the kills. As a pikeman (Ahem... long spearman... lame), many of my kills come from people who have been weakened by teammates and then I go in and kill them while my teammate is recovering from an attack. My teammates should be getting credit for doing work, and I should be getting the right amount of credit for the work I do.

EDIT: After re-reading your post (gah) I see what you mean... yeah, it would be interesting to know who hurt who. Maybe it could replace the equipment screen at the end of the round?

I and others have suggested the same thing in several related and unrelated threads - unfortunately the answer was always the same:

"the game engine does not allow that"

No idea if that is true (seems very weird, since the game HAS to collect info on every hit) or if the killhunting lobby just won't allow it, because too many archers and other support classes would show up topping the scoreboards, but it seems that we will not see this anytime soon...

It should be possible to gather how much damage a player did in a round, unsure as to whether it could be as specific as showing which player did how much damage to which enemy. Would be a nice addition to have a section on the score board each for damage done, kills and deaths. So a kill stealer would have lots of kills with little damage done, while a team player would probably have the opposite.

The server collects dmg info but it soes not track its origin. Weird right?

Server doesnt log what goes on?  Just make a log parser

I would love a more TeamFortress style point system.

Give me points for people using my ladders since I'm the only person willing to bring them on a siege map offense anymore.
