Title: Regular bow versus Horn or tatar
Post by: Anita_Henjaab on October 22, 2013, 04:32:45 am
Is the regular bow even more or less accurate then the horn or tatar?
And do the arrows of the regular bow fly further than horn or tatar? Cos I read somewhere that (velocity and thus) range of Rus and Longbow were enormously nerfed, but I don't find anything bout the regular bow.
I always see some of these regular bows on the marketplace, so they must be crappy?

Greets!

Pretty sure missile speed (and your power draw) effect the trajectory of the arrows from the bows

I've been switching between Bow and Tatar... Tatar I've found myself using the most.. cos it's faster. Trajectories do seem kinda different. Can't say I've noticed speed of arrow or accuracy. What do you mean by accuracy?

Well, I would say that the bow is a decent bow if you want to do some money. It's viable because it's similar to rus bow and longbow , despite its inaccuracy. It can be fixed with +3 rank, which makes the bow a perfect bow : fast, enough accurate to hs someone, hits hard. For my part , I got 150 in archery and 8 PD : it helps.

If you can get a +1 bow for 250k, buy it. I'm currently looking for one too.

@thread about accuracy and velocity:

no, the horn bow got both better speed and accuracy, but less damages. As I said, both are viable, you just have to know how to use them. Also, get a +1, seems you need it ;)
