Was fun but long lived.
PS... those chocolate chip cookies are snipers. Only killing the rider with an automatic machine gun without firing in bursts.

this.  lets make a camp and have machine guns in a forest pointing towards camp so any idiot can come by and shoot us to peaces with our own weapons, ha

That's literally the first 30 minutes right there.

And I suppose the Germans expected some sort of attack. Better to be prepared than the guy who got stabbed eating soup.

Just to make this clear, if you didn't notice by the movie then let me tell you now that this is World War I, the soldiers who are fighting are no chocolate chip cookies... . Seriously, some people immediately think every german soldier = chocolate chip cookie.

Next time if you post about history at least come with actually slight fact knowledge.

I've never heard the term “chocolate chip cookie” before, I'm guessing it refers to some kind of German soldier?

As a foot soldier we all know the proper way is to kill the horse first then have everyone swarm the rider, who will actually get more points from proximity team wounding than the guys trying to kill him.  If, by accident, the enemy range kills the rider first, us friendly infantry will kill the horse; hopefully seconds before a dismounted cav on our team runs up to it.

The order of ranged targets is 1) Cavalry 2) 2-handers/polearms 3) shielders  4) ranged 5) mounted ranged.  This is chosen by a combination of most dangerous/easiest to hit/most annoying to all other players.  The only thing ranged wants to do is get rid of everyone who could interfere with their favourite game of pew pew.  Pew pew takes a lot of patience and concentration, and that is hard to do when someone could sneak up behind you, so its only when all melee cav and infantry are gone that they can finally relax and try hitting each other from the far sides of the map.

It's worth watching at least one time. I personally thought it was a hearth warming movie.

That's the vibe I got originally when the movie was previewed...thanks for steering me away from it.   :twisted:

Also Matey, those people are just really good shots, and horse lovers (maybe they want the horses for themselves...ala Kamikaze Joe style).  They're not evil dishonorable crpg players who kill horses.

I always kill their horses when I manage to poke them out of saddle as 1h shielder.

It is like:

NO! FUCK YOU! DIE! FUCK YOUR CLASS! AND FUCK YOUR HORSE TOO!
