Title: Throwing
Post by: Joseph Porta on October 18, 2013, 12:32:30 am
Throwing is kinda dull and lame, lets lavour it up by giving items like the stakes, siege shields and that stuff a PT req, would give throwers a tactical role in a battle and flavour it up a lil bit. This would prevent (possible) spam and that sort, thowers could be coordinated in battles to place stuff in tactical positions. This would be cool I think, possible cons are that throwers wouldn't like giving up a weapon slot to take with them, and ending up getting less points and less kills and people will simply dislike having a req for it.. Unable to take it whenever they want. I just don't like it that ayone can just play engineer whilst being very knightly the next second. Just a little tactical flavour to add to it, that when correctly used in the right situation could just change tide.

Ridiculous idea.
Throwers are tactically useful enough as infantry/cavarly deterrent. If you're not having fun maybe you should try something else or approach throwing from a different perspective.
Siege shields, stakes, etc encourage teamwork, something that needs to be promoted, not reduced to one class. These things already take up slots and slow you down.
